I saw a tree with a million mirrors

I saw a tree with a million mirrors
standing at the edge of a precipice
roots firm amongst the rocks
branches up in supplication
leaves scattering in teardrops.

Kenza.

Inspiration: one week of near total silence.

  1. This reminds me of a chapter in the Bhagavad Gita – Chapter 15 which talks about the Tree of life. Only here the teardrops touch my heart ever so tenderly – in a gentle inexplicable way. I bow to you in gratitude.
