I am neither wise nor a fool

I am neither wise
nor a fool.
Life has given me gifts
and hardship.
Love and loss.
No need to brag,
nor to mourn.
So how come I still cry at the ills of the world?
It must be the fool in me,
or perhaps the wise.
You tell me.

Kenza.

      1. Your poem was so perfect for me to read — this very moment! I love the lights of Diwali and the message of eternity – and i was so unhappy and complaining about the ills of the loud crackers (pollution) — am i a fool? Yes, i am. Going to go back to the light now with a smile and prayer! Thank YOU! 🙂
